ANCIENT PATHS

A new flag went out on the tree house this Saturday
at the entrance to Shepherd's Walk where all are
WELCOME
to pray and meet with God!
**************
My friend Sheryl's husband, Don, volunteered to bring
his green 'Deere' to SW
to do some spring clean-up that was much needed!
Thanks, Don and Sheryl,
for your heart to serve the body of Christ!
*****************
Thank you to my son, Jeff, and his friend Billy, who also
raked leaves, mulch and topsoil too!

Jeremiah 6:16a
This is what the LORD says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.

2 Corinthians 2:14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us
in triumphal procession in Christ
and through us
spreads everywhere
the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.

A BEAUTIFUL SEASON of the NEW YEAR

Random sightings around a Snowy Day in Shepherd's Walk

Isaiah 55:8-13

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways My ways,”
declares the LORD.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven, and do not return to it
without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is My word that goes out from My mouth:
It will not return to Me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
12 You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD’s renown,
for an everlasting sign, which will not be destroyed.”

FATHER, GOD ALMIGHTY ~
As the snow covered the earth last night
like a warm blanket of Your love,
may we remember the purity that envelopes that love
and the sacrifice that it took to give it!
Your Son was obedient all the way to the cross for us!
For this - we give You a grateful and joyful

Hallelujah and Amen!

PRAYING PEACE for This Journey

Please pray for our dear sister in Blogland,
Elaine Olsen,
who has breast cancer. Her post is listed here:

May we gather around her like a strand of fine pearls - praying with her and trusting God with her through this unknown journey she is now facing.
________________
Psalm 103
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
____________

May God grant her His PEACE for this leg of her life's journey!
Favor and blessing be upon her life
- as God Himself continues to care for her!
____________
Father God~
We won't tell You how big this storm is in Elaine's life...
because You already know.
Instead, we will tell this storm how big
YOU ARE!
